Without a doubt spend the money.

Recently purchased for a featherlight build but didn't want to sacrifice accuracy. Very glad I spent the money on this. Coupled with the Titanium compensator from Christensen and honestly could not be happier. I am accurate to 500 yards with an eotech holo sight. Shoots soft because of the mid length gas system and weighs in barely over 5lbs with optic. Everyone who shoots it complements the setup. Seems to hold up to heat build up on rapid firing and staying accurate better than steel barrels too. Absolutely love this thing.

Purchased this barrel for a current build. Extremely beautiful barrel. Initially received the 2" gas block in the mails and contacted customer service. The same day they shipped out the 1" gas block barrel with a return label for the one I received. Customer Service here is above and beyond anything I could have expected. Will continue to purchase products from the excellent company.
7/12/2016 – What performance differences for 16"wylde 1:9 and the 14.5"wylde 1:8?
Response From Christensen Arms: There really wont much difference in performance. The difference is really in feet per second. On a standard 55 gn bullet/load the difference is only 80 feet per second. The 1:9 or 1:8 twist will allow you to stabilize different sizes of bullets.1:9 twist is better for smaller to medium bullets (40-62 gn) and the 1:8 twist is better for larger bullets (50-77gn)
6/17/2016 – What is the weight difference between this barrel and a comparable steel barrel of the same length?
Response From Christensen Arms: Standard 16" steel barrels are 2 lbs. Carbon wrapped 16" barrels are 1.65 lbs.
