The Magpul UBR (Utility / Battle Rifle) Gen 1, is a
fully-featured, adjustable buttstock for the AR15/M4. Unlike
typical collapsing stocks, this modular design offers the stability
of a fixed stock with consistent cheek weld in any position.
Seven-position length-of-pull (LOP) adjustment is quickly
executed with gross motor movement while the integral preset system
allows direct access to a preferred position. A robust lock
mechanism and multi-shell construction increase durability under
severe impact conditions experienced during malfunction clearing
and accommodates large-bore AR calibers with ease. The UBR also
provides extra counterbalance weight to improve handling on
full-length rifles and weapons with muzzle-heavy accessories or
bull-barrels. Optional components such as dual-side sling mounts
and metal strike plate allow the UBR to adapt to the mission at

The best CMP stock

I purchased this stock for CMP competitions. It is one of ther few collapsible stocks that have very high tolerances. Absolutely no wiggle, very solid! Because it weighs more than most stocks, it balances my rifle with a 20inch barrel, very well. I would definitely say this is the best stock I've ever owned! Fast shipping too!

built like a tank and functions well. just wish there was a better way to add weight.

The UBR is the best collapsible stock on the market. Unlike nearly every other collapsible stock the UBR's cheek piece stays in place providing consistent cheek weld for sight picture consistency. It's also rock solid with not a hint of slop. I pack storage compartment full of lead for added weight to manage rapid fire recoil. Storage compartment doors are optionally removable to decrease weight.

The stationary comb is inherently more stable for proper/consistent cheek weld than a moving can ever be, and several hundred rounds of 308 haven't produced the slightest amount of wobble in the stock. Perhaps a little excessive for most people shooting 5.56, but worth every penny if you're shooting harder recoiling cartridges.

Fits good and works great no wobble
